Construction of a temporary bridge

A Gilbert Grizzly MultiGrip MG-60 mounted on a John Deere 330C excavator has installed piles for the construction of a temporary bridge.

The project involves replacing the overround section of the Aqueduct Canal with a large-diameter underground pipeline approximately 900 metres upstream of the plant. ETPO Géodex, a company specializing in deep foundation work, has installed piles for the construction of a temporary bridge. Equipped with a Gilbert Grizzly MultiGrip MG-60 vibratory pile driver mounted on a John Deere 330C excavator, the team driven about 20 tubular piles 16 inches in diameter and 30 feet long into the canal waters. These piles will serve as a temporary foundation for the construction of the bridge and will have to be removed during a future phase of the work.
