Building a new wharf in Nova Scotia
Alva Construction, located in Antigonish and specialized in heavy construction and pile driving, has completed the driving of 272 pcs of 12 inch timber piles with their Grizzly MultiGrip MG-90 for the construction of a new wharf in Little Dover, Nova Scotia. Alva Construction was convinced about the efficiency of the Grizzly unique side-clamping device to accomplish the job. The challenge was the ability to drive the piles as close as possible to the existing structure. The side-clamp was able to position and drive the timber piles precisely where they needed.
