New Expansion Project Dedicated to Employees
Les Produits Gilbert Inc. is proud to announce an expansion plan for a new building dedicated to the company’s 115 employees. The extension of the head office, located at 1840 boulevard Marcotte in Roberval, will be mainly used for meals, entertainment and other corporate activities.
The 6500 square foot expansion represents a 1.3 million dollar investment. The work started in September 2020 and will be completed at the beginning of 2021. ‘’ This new extension is meant to be a common living area. A space where the employee wellness is in priority. ‘’ add Produits Gilbert president, Sylvain Gilbert.
The modern architecture enhances the wood in all its forms, a natural avenue for a company who has been serving the forestry industry since its beginning. In fact, the structure and the ceiling of the room will be built with wooden beams from Chantiers Chibougamau, a customer of the company. Many regional entrepreneurs will be involved in the work such as Béton Multi-Surfaces, Béton Provincial, Coffrage Solu-tech, E.K. Électrik Contrôle, Excavation Éric Tanguay, Gosselin & Fortin Architectes S.A., Métaux GBL, Plomberie Girard Voyer, Plomberie Paradis, Construction Tanguay Bonneau et Toitures Gilles Veilleux.
The company is pleased to move forward with this project despite the actual situation.
