Service and Parts Sales Representative – Planer Mill Division (South Eastern USA)

industrial equipment for planer mill, forestry and construction industries. With a reputation built on innovation, reliability, and exceptional customer service, we are expanding our footprint in the U.S. market. Our Planer Mill Division is seeking a dynamic, driven, and customer-focused Service and Parts Sales Representative to join our growing team in Southeastern USA territory.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a key member of our sales and support team, you will service and promote parts for our
Planer Mill equipment across Southeastern USA. Your main mission is to strengthen
relationships with existing clients and ensure superior customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distribution
    partners.
  • Plan and visit sawmills already running with Gilbert equipment to promote new upgrade parts and increase the planer spare parts sales.
  • Promote and sell service packages and maintenance programs.
  • We Provide planer training and technical support (Troubleshooting).
  • Coordinate and schedule on-site service visits, preventive maintenance, and emergency
    support.
  • Participate in all new planer start-ups.
  • We Follow up on service calls and ensure customer satisfaction post-intervention.
  • We Assist in diagnosing equipment issues and proposing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Gilbert sales and after-sales departments and
    service team) to ensure timely delivery and support.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Log information, activities and data into the CRM, supply with detailed territory coverage, contacts and sales probabilities, on a weekly basis to Planermill division Sales Manager.
  • Attend trade shows and site inspections as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, parts sales, or customer service—preferably in
    the industrial, forestry, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of planer mills or heavy equipment is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. regularly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
