Kingfisher Construction chose to work with Alessi Equipment on the purchase of a Gilbert Multi-Grip MG-60 Pile Driver to enhance their infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n

Project Overview
\nKingfisher Construction is undertaking a large-scale project to build a pedestrian boardwalk alongside a busy roadway embankment in Annapolis, Maryland. This 15-foot-wide, 400-foot-long boardwalk will be supported by timber piles that require careful installation on a challenging, narrow site.<\/p>\n

Challenge
\nThis job demands precise equipment that can handle limited access and ensure safety while keeping the process efficient. Traditional, large pile-driving rigs would be too bulky for the restricted work area, making it necessary to find an alternative that maintains both performance and safety.<\/p>\n

Solution: MG-60 Side Grip Pile Driver
\nThe MG-60 side grip pile driver proved to be the ideal solution for Kingfisher Construction. As John Mercer shared, \u201cThe MG-60 operates reliably, and the controls and user interface are well thought out and easy to work with. It has been great to work with on this job.\u201d
\nWith the side grip, John and his team were able to set and drive piles in the tight, embankment-adjacent work zone, a task that would have been impossible with traditional equipment. The MG-60 allowed for easier maneuvering, and its efficient design sped up the process while enhancing safety.<\/p>\n
